If you were pretending for it to resemble the AEGIS sword, you didn't do a very good job at it.

Maybe after we tour the Victory Museum, we can drink Victory Gin and light up some Victory Cigarettes and talk about how amazing Big Brother is in front of the telescreens so the thought police won't come and beat the shit out of us before taking us to 101. Stave off the inevitable, comrade, and be glad that our chocolate ration was reduced *BANGWHAPVICIOUSBEATDOWN* I mean raised!

Yor hendrighting is atroshus.

You ask me, the painstakingly rendered superperspective architecture is one of HDS' winning qualities. Even when standing still, these objects seem to be in radical motion.

Face it, you're going to read my comic. [link]

Dude, easy. No one said this was supposed to be finished art, or that it was supposed to look like a sword. They did, however, say there was supposed to be a "u" in "your." But that's neither here nor there.

First off, I think you're reading too much into my comments. I meant the comments in pseudo-jest, and I (like to) think me and AOD know each other well enough for him to understand that. I was merely pointing out that, while the building might not necessarily be a cross (something already mentioned), it doesn't pull off the second-most-likely shape: the AEGIS sword, leading one to wonder exactly what was the architectural inspiration for such a museum design, if one was to be entirely meta and guess from the viewpoint of the architect in question when it concerns the world of HDS. I, for one, think that his architecture and landscapes are quite nice, hence why I rarely say anything about them, and when I do it tends to be fairly positive, something rather unusual for me I acknowledge but I've stopped commenting about AOD's art style for a while now.

The second paragraph is a reference to 1984, by George Orwell, and has nothing to do with the art itself. As someone who has also read 1984, I think AOD will get the joke.

The third paragraph / line is a self-deprecating remark concerning AOD's handwriting and should not be taken seriously.

You don't need to defend the man. He's a big boy. Also, if you were more familiar with our interchanging banter I'd like to think you'd realize that my statement wasn't very negative by a long shot. AOD was around when I was at my nastiest and bore the greatest hubris, and compared to that, the things I say now are pretty darn tame. I can see how my statement can easily be read to be an attack, but it's not, I can assure you.

I do respect you standing up for him, though.

Most people would have said "just joshin'!" and been done with it, but I appreciate you going the extra mile for my benefit. I retract my urlier commint.

No, not really, it was just a T-shaped building for no real reason.

I blame years of furiously scrambling to take down notes as the reason for my bad handwriting.
